EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
The business-to-business interconnection of computers for the rapid exchange of a wide variety of documents, from invoices to payments.
Cole Hersee supports some EDI, with more extensive implementation being planned.

ELECTROMECHANICAL DEVICE
A mechanical device which is controlled by an electric device. Solenoids and circuit breakers are examples. Much conventional switching is electromechanical, although other methods, such as optoelectronic and Hall Effect are being introduced by pioneers in switching, like Cole Hersee.

EMF
Electromotive force or voltage (V). The gradient or 'push' that is given to an electrical force. The higher the voltage difference, the faster a current will travel.
