Digital Databus System

Linking electronic switches
to electrical motors or lighting.

Eliminates the 'rat's nest' of harness behind the panel
Traditional switches need up to 8 wires, so an array of 10 switches can mean up to 80 wires behind the panel - adding cost, bulk, complexity and a troubleshooting nightmare.: a

Simplifies thru-firewall/bulkhead wiring
Conventional harnesses pass from the panel and radiate to locations all over the vehicle. MiniBus utilizes one slender cable.

The MiniBus digital Databus system simplifies diagnostics. With conventional electromechanical switching, each one of the circuits may need to be tested.

The MiniBus is a single unified self-diagnostic system that provides the operator with continuous feedback about the electrical loads it controls.

The entire system is solid state, with no mechanical parts. Modules are fully sealed, with integral high current (20amp each) electronic relays. The system is impervious to vibration, and is highly-resistant to moisture and contamination. Components are rated to millions of On-Off cycles.

The system is modular and expandable. It can command additional loads by adding switches, SIMs and PDMs up to a total of 128 channels. Modules can be daisychained to utilize the same central twisted pair.

The system can be bridged to a fully-featured SAE1939 digital databus system
