Market Segment Manager

As a member of our Sales Team, the Market Segment Manager (MSM) is responsible for managing account relations within the Construction Equipment segment of Cole Hersee customers.  

This position is accountable for developing and driving strategies for construction segment growth. The MSM will develop and monitor a complete marketing and sales plan which will assist in developing strategic marketing direction to expand existing markets and open new markets for Cole Hersee products.  In addition, the MSM will establish execution plans and create programs which support business development and increase market share. The MSM will be responsible for facilitating the coordination of cross-functional activities and resources and addresses issues and resolves problems pertaining to marketing activities and /or programs that are not meeting the needs of customers. The MSM is responsible for addressing day-to-day tactical issues to include forecasting, quality issues, warranty agreements, etc., concerning major assigned accounts within the market segment

The right candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years sales experience, preferably working with major transportation OEMs. In addition, this candidate will have strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.  Experience with MS Office products and Gantt charts is a must.
