A truck lease company in Long Island City NY had a continual problem with their fleet of approximately 400 straight trucks. When drivers returned vehicles to the yard they would often leave the compartment lights on.

Of course the battery was draining all night, and many of the trucks couldn’t be started in the morning. So the fleet manager took his problem to his parts distributor. They took the problem to the Cole Hersee aftermarket rep, and in short order the fleet manager had a solution. He had eight of his trucks installed with the Cole Hersee FlexMod Electronic Timer, and his problem went away on those trucks.

The truck technicians were happy because installation was quick and easy. The fleet manager was happy because he didn’t have to hold up his business by having vehicles out of service.

The fleet manager has now installed FlexMods on his fleet of 400 and plans to put them on the new trucks he’s purchasing.
