Switches actuated by a handle or paddle, which fit a circular hole (diameter 0.475" 12.1mm) in a mounting panel. Some items have illuminated handles or handle tips. Available with blade or screw terminals, or with attached wire leads.

The convenience of toggle switches is that they fit a standard round hole in a panel, that is easy to drill. They usually need to be inserted from behind the panel and secured with a washer and locknut.
